Matthew Fitzgerald passed away suddenly on April 25th in Broomfield Colorado. Matthew was the devoted son of Doreen and Joseph. Devoted brother of Christine Thomas and Samantha and Uncle of Erik and Joey. Matthew graduated Lawrence High School in 2006 where he was an all-county bowler and NYSSMA award winner for trumpet He attended Oneonta State College and was a graduate of the Career Academy of NY in the culinary field. Matthew was set to pursue a career in the Navy in late May 2017.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a baseball scholarship in Matthews name. Donations can be made to the Lawrence High School Athletic Department, Attention Joe Martilotti.
