CASTROVILLA- Anthony "Butch" passed on December 31st, 2020. He was born in Queens, NY on August 18th to his loving parents; Margaret and Tony Castrovilla. He had 2 sisters; Rose Marie Barton and Pauline Young, both of which have passed away along with 2 baby brothers. Butch worked at his father's store, "Tony's Market" in Inwood for much of his life then went on to a 25 year career in Sanitary District #1 in Lawrence, NY before retiring. He also owned and operated a cab through Cedarhurst Taxi for 25 years. Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Gerrie (nee Germano) and his devoted children; Cheryl Greener, Anthony, Gina Cruz (David), Nicholas (Elisa) and Jonathan. He is also survived by 9 cherished grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Perry Funeral Home, Inc. 118 Union Ave. Lynbrook, NY 11563 on Thursday January 7, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Friday 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's RC Church in Hewlett. Interment to follow in Greenfield Cemetery in Hempstead.
