The family’s obituary was most accurate. In a school dedicated to educate children with conduct disorders, Don’s office was always the Peaceful Valley. I joined the staff in “Old PS75” and was impressed by his patience and strategies for having the boys get aligned with their surroundings. I learned from him and remained there for more than 30 productive and joyful years. Don did much to set such a tone throughout his tenure.
