Obituary of Thelma Delponte

Please share a memory of Thelma to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness to share the passing of Thelma Delponte on Thursday April 15th at the age of 87. She was the wife of John, the mother of Lorraine and Joanne, and grandmother of Nicole and Michelle. In her younger years she enjoyed her time at Julia Richmond High School with her dear friend Frances and she later worked for the rare book dealer, Bartfield and Bartfield Thelma loved to cook for her family, watch tennis and was a fan of the New York Yankees. She always started her day by reading the newspaper and loved staying up to date on current events and often shared stories about Italy. As she grew older she loved traveling places from the Jersey shore to the Catskills. She loved animals dearly, especially dogs. She could often be found spending her days outside in the fresh air and talking to everyone she met. She was a proud and active member of her church and she offered her time to help others in the community.
