Obituary of MARILYN LeDu

Marilyn Dawn LeDu was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.

She left this world peacefully on October 12, 2021, with her family by her side. 

Marilyn was born to the late John and Virginia Monahan, in New York City.

She is survived by her two children, Michael LeDu (Lee) and Melissa Mahoney (Stephen) and her three
grandchildren, who she adored more than anything, Liam (10), Landon (6) and Sadie (4). She is also
survived by her loving sister, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, as well as her many extra special nieces
and nephews. 

Marilyn was loving, welcoming, caring, generous, selfless, kind, and strong.

She was always so proud of her kids, grandkids and nieces and nephews.

Marilyn loved spending time with her close-knit family more than anything. She was everyone’s best friend,
which is evidenced by the many lifelong friendships she had. Marilyn had a great sense of humor, the most
amazing memory and loved to share stories from her childhood adventures.

Marilyn will forever be missed and will be in our hearts and by our side, always. We are all so blessed to have
been in her life.
