Podmore-Leonard T. 88 of Hewlett, NY on July 20, 2013. Devoted husband of Carmela. Loving father of Karen McGlynn (John), Patricia Prior (Michael), and Laura DeJoseph (Andrew). Cherished "grampy" of Jeanine, Richard, Michael, James, John and Daniel. Beloved brother of the late Frances White. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Proud WWII veteran. Long time member of the Hewlett Fire Department and American Legion Post 246. Family will receive friends Monday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Perry Funeral Home Inc. 118 Union Ave., Lynbrook, NY. Firematic Service Monday 8 PM. Religious Service Tuesday 10: 30 AM at Trinity St. Jonh's Church, Hewlett, NY. Interment to follow at Trinity Churchyard Cemetery, Hewlett, NY.
