Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

John Francis Healey
January 31, 1931 – March 3, 2025
John (Jack) Healey of Lynbrook NY passed away peacefully at the age of 94. He is predeceased by
Jeanne, his beloved wife of 67 years. He is survived by his children Jim, Mary, Jeanne and Ann. He was
loved by his son-in-law Frank and late daughter-in-law Anne. He was the proud grandfather of Kenny
(Vanessa), Laura (Mike), John (Danielle), Cory and Daniel, and great grandfather to Lena, Liam and
Sophia. Jack was born in Park Slope, Brooklyn and lived in the East Rockaway/Lynbrook area for 56 years where
he was an active parishioner of Saint Raymond’s church. He enjoyed watching Jeopardy, cheering for the
NY Mets, long bike rides, a daily run or walk, soaking in the sun and reading a good book. He loved his
family dearly, and served as a source of laughter, a wealth of knowledge and a voice of reason for those
lucky enough to know him.
We will miss him dearly and he will live on in our hearts forever.
