Danny was born in Queens, NY to Nancy Hendrickson and Angel Berrios on April 8, 1975. He went to Lawrence High School and graduated in 1993. Danny immediately entered the workforce. He began employment with the Sanitary District 1, located in Lawrence. Danny was still employed here at the time of his passing with 30 years of service. Danny always was a hard worker and often secured part-time employment in addition to his full-time employment. He was passionate about being a bus driver for the Independent Coach transporting kids to their respective athletic games. The kids adored him as much as he adored them. Danny was very active in the community and known as everyone’s friend and helper. He could always make you laugh with his ridiculous funny faces and antics. You never knew when he would give you a “delivery” or a “noses.” He would start singing and bust out his dance moves whenever and wherever; there was no shame in his game. He was passionate about riding his motorcycle and took great pride in the bikes he had bought over the years, commencing around the age of 18. Danny was a dedicated Volunteer Fireman with the Hewlett Fire Department with many years of unwavering service. He was a member of the Republican Committee and was a member in several Motorcycle Clubs. Danny still enjoyed playing recreational ice hockey and proudly sported his New York Rangers Jersey. Danny loved the NY Mets and in his younger days idolized Gary Carter. Danny was a gentle giant who loved listening to love ballads; Michael Bolton and Richard Marx were two of his old-time favorites. Danny had a natural green thumb and loved creating landscapes of beautiful shrubs and flowers. He took great pride in his backyard masterpieces. Danny is survived by his wife, Valerie Cervone Berrios, daughter Brianna Berrios (Zack), sons Ethan Berrios, Spencer Berrios; sisters, Dawn Zuefle (Larry), Vanessa Plattner (Steve) , brother AJ Berrios (Melissa); granddaughters Luna and Camilla Frigand; nieces and nephews, Lawrence Zuefle, Emily Zuefle, Christian Plattner, Sydney Plattner, Mason Plattner, Angelo, Angelee, Autumn and Michelle Berrios; cousins Jason Hendrickson, Jay Gelosi and Joey Gelosi.
