Growing up with Jimmy as an older brother, I remember . . .
Jimmy loved movies, music and the Yankees. He knew every movie James Cagney ever made. He kept a marble notebook in which he tracked all the scores and pitching averages of his beloved Yankees. Elvis Presley was one of his favorites as far as music goes, and I remember him singing into our hair brush to his songs.
Jimmy’s laugh was contagious especially when he was watching the "Odd Couple" and "Honeymooners" reruns every night at 11:00.
Jimmy didn’t have an easy life, but he is at peace now…free of the obtrusive voices in his head, the medications used on him that suppressed the voices but that which unfortunately changed the person he truly was and what he enjoyed in life.
