Peter Thomas Broughal Was Born on February 4, 1945 in The Bronx NY to Peter H. and Anna Broughal (McDonnell). He went on to marry Loretta T. O'Connell In 1971. He raised two children; Ellen A. Blaney and Peter E. Broughal. Loving father In law to Kevin Blaney and Jennifer Broughal(Reddan) Beloved grandfather to five adoring grandchildren. Donovan, Declan, Rylan, & Dempsey Blaney and Peter S Broughal. Brother to Barbara Lines (Ronald) Eileen Turilli (Donald) Lorraine O'Malley (Patrick) Brother in law to Edward (Deborah) and Dennis O'Connell (Kim). Proud and Loving uncle to many. Treasured Friend of everyone that knew him. Pete was a proud American and served in the United States Army as a drill Sargent from 1965-1967. As the son of an FDNY battalion chief he had much admiration for the FDNY and NYPD. He was extremely proud of his son, Peter joining the NYPD who currently works in the Joint Operations Center. He was also an entrepreneur, and opened many different businesses. He was very proud of his Irish heritage which lead him to open Fibber McGees Pub, his pride and joy in 1985. He loved history, New York sports and reading. He was know for his quick wit, practical jokes, his welcoming soul, opening his doors to everyone near and far, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
