Obituary of Anthony Louis Feore

Please share a memory of Anthony to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Anthony Louis Feore 1945 – 2020 Anthony 'Tony' Feore, 75, of Oceanside NY, passed away in the late evening of May 12, 2020 due to complications of Covid-19. Tony was born in Rockville Centre NY, April 9th 1945, to parents Evelyn and Anthony Feore. He grew up in Malverne, NY alongside his older sister Marilyn and younger sister Barbara. Growing up, Tony had a profound love of music. He could often be found on the corner singing Doo-Wop songs with a group of his closest friends. He was a member of several bands including The Mosaic and Main Street. He was both the lead singer and played the Keyboards and Organ. Some of his favorite bands and musical influences include YES, Jethro Tull, Neil Young, Kansas, Kenny Rankin, Billy Joel and Styx. It was also this love for music that brought him and his wife Clorinda together. Clo and Tony met working at Boozy & Hawks music co. and she would often go to see him and his bands play. Clo and Tony lived very happily together for 40+ years and had a lifetime of wonderful memories. They shared a bond between souls rarely experienced by others. Family was incredibly important to Tony. He was a devoted father to Toni (Billy), Dani (Carlos), Brett, and Keri from his earlier marriage to Carol Wahlers, and was the beloved Pop-Pop to Andi & Jesse (Dani & Carlos). A caring and thoughtful Dad, Tony always went the extra mile to make his children feel special. Some of the best memories are those spent dancing, singing and laughing in his living room during family gatherings and holiday celebrations. He was a man of many talents and excelled at everything he did. A successful Carpenter by trade, he was a man who could do anything…A true Do-It-Yourself'er who would never call on the help of others to fix anything, from cars to appliances, and was lovingly referred to by friends as the man with the "Golden Hands". He had a passion for cooking & baking which he enjoyed doing for his family and friends. He was also an avid gardener known for his prize-winning tomatoes and countless other varieties of fruits & vegetables. Indeed, these are the things we should remember. The grief we feel now will always be with us, but it is those moments that truly reflect the person he was; intelligent, an abundance of ability and skill, but most importantly a caring and loving man. 30 Days. That's all it took for this horrible virus to take the life of a man with so much more life to live. To all others who have gone before and to those who might be suffering, you are not a statistic. While there is no list of names on a wall or pictures on TV to honor you, you're all heroes...courageous fighters who are paving the way to find a cure and saving the lives of millions around the world. That is how we choose to remember you Tony, and honor all who have given their lives and those on the front lines fighting this battle. Please consider sharing a special memory and/or photo at www.anthonyfeore.com Thank you to everyone who has been there for support, love and prayers. We are truly blessed to have you all in our lives.
