Obituary of Anna Carusone

Mrs. Anna (Palmieri) Carusone (82), passed away peacefully on June 22, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her adoring husband, Angelo Carusone (1974). Anna was born in the town of Fondola, province of Caserta, Italy on July 31, 1937 to Giulia and Antonio Palmieri, and she came to the United States by way of Ellis Island. She settled in Albany, NY until she and her husband relocated their family to Lynbrook. A devout Catholic, she was a parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church for nearly 57 years. She loved singing, gardening, and cooking for her family and friends. She is survived by her loving and devoted children: daughter Antonietta (Gregg DeAngelis), son Angelo, daughter Maria (Keith Bolen), 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Her unwavering faith carried her through the untimely loss of her beloved sons, Stephen (2015) and Joseph (2017). We will always treasure the wonderful memories we have of her time with us.
