Obituary of Robert J Douglass

Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Robert “Uncle Bob” Douglass was loved by all, but especially his brothers and sisters: Maureen McGoldrick (Bill), Monica Belmonte (Gary), Joseph Douglass (Joan), James Douglass (Vickie), Anne Regina Keleman (George); his thirteen nieces and nephews: Bridget McGoldrick, Maura Brush (Sam), Margaret Merson (Jonathan), Christopher Douglass (Libby), Michael Belmonte (Wendy), Dorothy Stanford (Dennis), Elizabeth Fee (Kevin), Brian Douglass (Carla), Kathleen Moysaenko (Peter), Timothy Douglass, Meg Douglass, Sophia Keleman, and Joseph Keleman; his twelve great nieces and nephews: Violet, Hudson, and Lorelei Brush, Teddy Flanders, Patrick and Elaine Merson, Stephan Keleman, Alice and Lillian Stanford, Gloria and Joselyn Belmonte, and Kilian Fee, and the niece or nephew due to be welcomed shortly by Kevin and Elizabeth Fee. (Uncle Bob has now won the pool by knowing the gender and date of birth). He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anne Douglass His tastes were simple. His first loves were family and friends, and he kept up with everyone, even though he did not have a computer or a Facebook account, and he still carried a flip phone. He wanted very few possessions, protesting always that someone needed it more. You could tell Bob anything, and he listened without judgment. You could always count on Uncle Bob. Everyone describes him as a sweet, gentle, kind soul, and all those people cannot be wrong. He was the best and will be greatly missed.
