Obituary of Robert Thomas DeMott

Robert Thomas DeMott was born August 7,1957 to Thomas and Anne DeMott of Lynbrook, N.Y. Bob was a geophysicist for a company in New Jersey where he resided. He started his college education at Nassau Community College,then to Southampton University, to Adelphi and finished up at Fairbanks University in Alaska. He loved school and was so eager to help other people figure out their curriculum. We think he missed his calling of being a college adviser. He was a devoted brother and Uncle to his nieces and nephews. He loved the great outdoors and exploring. He loved the annual family camping trip tradition. Bob loved getting together and spending time with his family he was fondly known as Dude. He passed away on April 5, 2020 from COVID 19. He will be greatly missed by his family Linda and Bob Millione, Laurie and Mike Perri, and his nieces and nephews Kyle, Theresa, Keith, Nicole, Heather, Jared, John, Nicole and a great nephew Jake. We will carry him in our hearts forever...
