I was so shocked to hear the news. I moved to NJ 4 years ago but was seeing Laurie for many years....even before her kids were born. She helped me through so much and I felt so close to her. I remember sending the family a tin of Costco cookies every Christmas, I remember when each child was born and how thrilled she was when Juliana was born. She loved her boys so much and the little girl completed the family. I am so sorry to hear the news. I wrote to her the other day for her birthday and when she didn't answer (she always did) I got concerned and tried to reach her in a few ways....then I read the sad news. She was a special person and I regret she can't help others like she helped me but she was a gift to us all. I feel she is watching over us in her caring way.
