Tony (Cono) Russo, 80, of East Rockaway, NY (formerly of Woodmere) passed on October 2, 2021. Widow of beloved wife , Lenore Russo. Loving father of Lisa (Martin), Amanda (Jeremy) and Toni, grandfather "Poppy" of Ava and brother to Michael Russo. He is preceded in death by his parents Mary and Michael Russo and brother Frank Russo. When at his best Tony enjoyed a great meal with his family, surviving being in a house of all girls, Sunday's playing the horses until passionately taking up Golf including teaching his youngest daughter. His work ethic was unparalleled, he always expressed life with tremendous generosity and most important being Clyde to his Bonnie. The family will receive friends on Mon Oct 4 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Perry Funeral Home, Inc. 118 Union Ave. Lynbrook, NY. Funeral Mass Tues Oct 5, 9:45AM at St. Raymond's RC Church in East Rockaway.
