Obituary of Matthew P. Bocci

Beloved Husband of Cristina White, eldest son of Patricia and Paul Bocci, stepson to Frances Tyrrell and Carlos Jimenez, brother of Michael Bocci and his wife Brittany and Godfather and Uncle to their children Mackenzie Rey, Harper Allison and Michael Finn Bocci, brother of his bestest sister Marissa Dawn Bocci. He was stepbrother to Ian Tyrrell and his wife Erin, Rachel Tyrrell and Allison and her husband Steven Russo, Eric Jimenez and his wife Desiree, and Nicole Jimenez. Matthew was uncle to scores of blended step nieces and nephews that he never really got know but they would have loved him. Let’s not forget he was devoted dog dad to Charlie. Matthew was our “Gift from God” - so handsome, kind-hearted, sensitive and always smiling. He was the perpetual youth who loved his Wife, Family, Hockey, WWF Wrestling and Action figures and when he was with his brother and sister, the only clue that he wasn't a little kid was his salt & pepper hair. Sometimes his hobbies and loves were chased to the extreme but without pretense or embarrassment on his part which showed how genuine he was. He was fiercely loyal to his friends but compassionate and gentle when needed. His life was littered with triumphs and tragedies, ups and downs and the black cloud that seemed to follow him when down, was unrelenting. We can only pray that the pain, both physical and emotional, has ended and that he has found peace. Matthew has left us far too soon, however, we celebrate the memories of happy times and take comfort in knowing he is with many loved ones who adored him.
