Mistero, Philip, 77, of Atlantic Beach, NY on February 5, 2013. Beloved husband of Patricia. Loving father of Laura Mistero and Felicia Mistero-Sarnelli and her husband Vincent. Dear brother of Frank Mistero and his wife Wendy, the late Philomena Capone, the late Jesse Mistero, the late Edith Pappas and the late Dominick Mistero. Cherished grandfather of Isabella and Vincent. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Philip served as Superintendent of Hempstead Sanitary District # 1. Ex Fire Commissioner of Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire District. Longtime member of Peninsula Kiwanas. The family will receive friends Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Perry Funeral Home, Inc. 118 Union Ave. Lynbrook. Funeral Mass Friday 10:00 AM at St. Joachim's RC Church in Cedarhurst. Entombment Holy Rood Cemetery.
