Obituary of Dennis James Cesternino

Dennis J. Cesternino was a beloved husband to his wife, Rose-Anne and father to Robert, Lisa and Daniel. Dennis proudly served 27 years in the New York Police Department until finally retiring in 2001 as a Lieutenant. Dennis spent the last 9 years working for the Federal Government in payroll administration for the Transportation Security Administration . To all those around him, Dennis will always be remembered for his sense of humor which effortlessly brought smiles wherever he went. Dennis always was concerned with seeing that those around him and those he entertained at his home were always comfortable and well fed. Dennis prided himself as a lifelong fan of the New York Mets and the New York Jets and never missed a game if he could help it. He wouldn't have wanted to see any of us upset about his passing but instead would have wanted all of us to share a laugh over something he might have done while sharing a beer and something good to eat.
