I’m having a hard time putting into words what Jeanne Mertz meant to me and my family. I worked with Jeanne for a couple of years and then became a client of hers. I honestly don’t know where I would be without Jeanne’s guidance. I have never met a more caring, selfless individual, she was truly one of a kind. I am where I am today because of Jeanne and the fact that she always believed in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself. Jeanne will always hold a special place in my heart, she will truly be missed.

I was lucky to know both Jack and Jeanne Mertz first as clients but ultimately as dear friends. They were always a joy to be around, and though I loved them both dearly, it was Jeanne whom I admired from day one,
There was a grace about her, a kindness that was tangible, she had a gift of making everyone feel special and seemed to always see the best in us.
She lived her life fully, enjoyed it with gusto, but never lost her compassionate heart. She was a role model of mine and will be sorely missed.

What a true pleasure and honor to have spent so many days of the last thirteen years with Jeanne up until her retirement from MNR! Working closely with her for all that time, I had the good fortune to experience up close the kindness, decency, empathy, class and humor that defined Jeanne. To say that she cared deeply for every person she counseled is to greatly understate that unique quality! Jeanne was a special human and the world seems a little bit of a colder place without her.
