Please share a memory of JoAnn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
JoAnn Schneiderman of Valley Stream, born August 27, 1947, passed peacefully on June 14, 2022. Beloved mother of Cheryl, Robert (Gabriella), and Amy (Lisa), wonderful grandmother of Robert, William, Shane and Corey, dear sister of Paul and Richard, loving aunt, good friend, and all around amazing person. She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and later Trinity Saint John. JoAnn was generous to all who she knew and even those she didn’t. The door of her home was always open to those she loved and anyone in need. JoAnn’s children were the center of her universe from Christmas’ out of a fairytale to loading up the station wagon for summer adventures. JoAnn’s desire to give her children everything was unmatched. For 24 years she was dedicated to her job as an attendant for OTB which coincided with her love of gambling- horse racing, cards, casino tents, Bingo … JoAnn’s love for her children was only matched by her love for her grandchildren. They were everything to her and then some. She would tell everyone about them and their artwork covered her walls. Now She will spend eternity as their guardian angel.
