Obituary of Helen M Doyle

Helen Marie Doyle October 6, 1931 – July 7, 2022 Helen Doyle is survived by her five children, Thomas Doyle, Karen Pupke, William Doyle, Charles Doyle, Marie Ponsot, her three children-in-law, Maureen Doyle, Marly Doyle, and Gregory Ponsot and her nephew, Kevin. She leaves behind nine grandchildren (Stephen Doyle, Christopher Ponsot, Kristine Doyle, Megan Chefetz, Colleen Pupke, Kathleen Doyle, Rachel Cabeza, Jennifer Doyle, and Eileen Ponsot), three great nieces (Ticia Aumell, Kelli Vasquez and Theresa Mastellon), and seven great grandchildren (Ella and Eden Ponsot, Jackson and Owen Chefetz, Reya Doyle, and Mia and Emmie Vasquez). Helen was a “Naner” (Nana) to all she met; collecting this name from all of her kids and grandkid’s friends. She was a lover of all things Irish, horse racing, music, board games and most of all family. Helen was the Hostess with the Mostest, and every holiday for this large family was spent around her table. Helen did not have an easy life; losing her husband at the age of 58, and her brother Billy at a very young age, followed by the loss of her youngest daughter, Eileen, her sister Mary, her mother Helen and her oldest son Michael. Despite all of the loss (many extended family members additionally), Helen never lived her life in sadness. She was the first to help others pick themselves back up and she allowed all those that past to live on in her stories and her smile. With seven children, it’s no surprise that she spent her life surrounded by kids. It always brought Naner great joy to see the little ones smile. She would teach them all little life lessons while they cooed in her arms. Helen’s entire family feels very blessed that she met and shared her love with her seven great grandchildren. Helen lived a rich long, life and while her family feels very lucky to have had her this whole time, she will be sorely missed as the Matriarch of her family. Her presence, her sarcasm, her love, and her comforting arms, will be in our hearts and minds forever.
