Spinelli, Vincent, Sr. (Cooky), 78, of Lawrence, NY on August 16, 2013. Beloved husband of Angelarose (Rosie) (nee DeCicco). Devoted son of the late Louis and Carmella. Loving father of Louis, Vincent Jr.(Charlene), Nancy, Frank and Michael (Carmella). Cherished grandfather of Alexandra, Taylor, Michael, Stevie, Pierce, Jenni, Matthew, Cole and Dean. Dear brother of Gloria (Philip), Rosemary (Kenneth), Ronald (the late Ellen) and the late Cono. Brother in law of Vincent (Cathy), Josephine (Dante), Gerri (Paul) and Frank (Carol). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Proud US Navy veteran served in the Korean War on the USS Midway and Intrepid. Fifty year member and Ex-Captain of the Inwood Fire Department. Former Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Commissioner. Member of VFW-John J. Oliveri Post #1582 in Inwood. The family will receive friends Saturday and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Perry Funeral Home, Inc. 118 Union Avenue Lynbrook, NY. Funeral Mass Monday 10 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church in Inwood, NY. Cremation Private.
