Obituary of Dennis Jonathan Rossdale

After landing his self-taught, dream job in the crypto currency space, he was on a business trip to
Rome, Italy and had a sudden brain aneurysm at the age of 45. Born to Robert and Lisa Rossdale, brother to Michelle, brother-in-law to Darren DeCiccio, and uncle to Maya Rose, who knew him as “Uncle Boom”. Survived by his wife, Christine, which they shared 24 years together. Father to Jacob Daniel, 17; Caleb James, 14; Luke Andrew, 12 and Jordan Grace, 10. Son-in-law to Christian and Teresita Buquid of Fremont, California and brother-in-law to Christian Buquid, Jr.

1. Expressed his complex thoughts through his drawings.
2. Video gamer from day one.
3. Expert swimmer and snowboarder.
4. Truly honest, kind and generous to a fault.
5. Lead a Christian life, building our family’s foundation through biblical scriptures.
6. Honored his Jewish faith, celebrating all its customs.
7. Has read the Bible cover to cover at least five times.
8. Was a Youth Pastor for young teens and could find an approachable parable, even in a hip hop video.
9. Extremely intellectual, and he always did his research.
10. Voracious reader, mainly fantasy.
11. Movie buff who would quote obscure lines when relatable.
12. Played the guitar and loved a variety of music.
13. Funny guy with a great sense of humor, at times telling one too many Dad jokes.
14. Fully embraced Filipino culture. He was super Pinoy, speaking Tagalish and creating his own blend of words.
15. First Degree black belt in traditional Tae Kwan Do.
16. Fan of the Golden State Warriors, SF 49ers, Oakland A’s, NY Mets and Jets, but ultimately was an East Bay,
West Coaster at heart.
17. When he would discuss topics, the kids would describe him as doing a “Dad’s Ted Talk”.
18. Devoted husband who always took the time to focus on our marriage.
19. Dedicated father, whether it be science projects, dressing up in costume, a Just Dance challenge, being a
chauffeur, or arts and crafts.
20. Undeniably charismatic. People were drawn to him, opening up within minutes, then he
would say his famous line...“I’m Dennis, by the way”.
21. Adventurous, fearless and courageous in every way.
22. He was my Sweets, my Baybuh, Bae, my everything, my love.
