Obituary of Margaret June Perby

Margaret June Perby, Born in Dobbs Ferry, NY, June 24, 1920 to Raymond S. and Katherine Brown. June passed away November 29, 2022 after successfully celebrating 102 years on this earth at Park Avenue Extended Care. She graduated from SUNY Cobleskill; class of 1942. On June 19 th ,1948 she married George J. Perby. June and George loved traveling to Pennsylvania and upstate New York to visit family and friends. If they could drive there, they were going. June worked for the New York Telephone Company as an operator for 25 years, retiring in June of 1972. June was an skilled baker and known for her delicious cheesecake which wowed everyone that ate it. She will be remembered for her wit, sense of humor and time well spent with her family and friends. After the loss of her husband she traveled with world with friends and joined many clubs and associations, including NAIM and the Pioneers club. She was a devout Catholic who practiced her faith daily and instilled the same on her family. June was predeceased in death by her parents (Raymond and Kathrine Brown), husband (George J. Brown January 10 th , 1978) son (James Perby May 30 th , 2020) along with brothers Edgar, William and Raymond. She is survived by her beloved daughter Ruth,her cherished grandchildren Jill Cardace Eayres, Christopher Perby Cardace, and his wife Adrianna Signore Cardace. Three beloved great grand children Logan Riley Eayres, Zoe Olivia Eayres and Lucia Signore Cardace, along with many loving nieces and nephews. Those who knew and loved her will find comfort in joyful memories and she will forever remain in the hearts of her friends and family for generations to come. In lieu of flowers, desired memorials may be sent to “March of Dimes”.
