Obituary of Mary Ellen Risorto

Please share a memory of Mary Ellen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mary Ellen was born on March 2, 1935 in Brooklyn and passed away suddenly on December 20, 2022. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Al. She leaves behind her six children and their spouses (Al (Maryann), Keith (Tina), Thomas (the late Laura), Karen (Kenny), Colleen (Jeff), and Randy (Mary)), twelve grandchildren (Jillian, Jason, Stephanie, Michelle, Keith, Julianne, Daniel, Erin, Neil, Christopher, Matthew and Kelly), and two great-grandchildren (Julia and Lila). She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Jean Wall, and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. Mary Ellen was kind, thoughtful, and loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was always by her husband’s side and got the greatest joy from speaking with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She made the best chocolate chip cookies and loved watching the NY Knicks. Her warmth, kindness and loving presence will be greatly missed
