Aida and I worked together for many years at Bardwil Linens, and would sometimes sit together at lunch exchanging work gossip and family news. She was so proud of her daughters and their accomplishments, and thrilled to be a grandma.
We worked together on the big sample sales in the showroom, and she was such a pro at it that we were thrilled when she came back to work the sales even after retiring. She never would tell her age, so only now I found out she was three years younger than me.
Dear Lydia, Evelyn and family, I will always remember Aida with great fondness. My deepest condolences for your loss.
