Obituary of Marie Esposito

Marie Esposito, a cherished mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and devoted wife, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2023, at the age of 91. She was born on October 21, 1931, in the vibrant borough of Brooklyn, New York, and her life was filled with love, warmth, and a deep commitment to her family. Marie was the daughter of Minnie and Joseph Pisano and sister to Natalie, Nettie, Anna, Michael, Rocky, Joseph and John. Marie met her Prince Charming, Vincent Esposito and were married in Brooklyn ,NY on January 21, 1968, after keeping company for many years. They made a life together on North 7th Street in Brooklyn with their daughter Jacqueline which was filled with love and laughter alongside Family and Friends. In 2006, they moved to Lynbrook, NY to be with her Daughter, Son-in-law and Grandson. As a grandmother, Marie found immense joy in the presence of her grandson, Vincent McDermott. She showered him with affection, and her radiant smile would light up the room whenever he was near. Marie's role as a grandmother brought her immeasurable happiness, and her love and wisdom will forever shape Vincent's life. She was delighted in watching the New York Mets, cheering on her favorite team with an enthusiasm that was contagious. She also enjoyed attending her Grandson’s baseball tournaments loudly cheering for him in the stands. Marie was also an avid reader, finding joy in the pages of the newspaper each day. Above all, Marie cherished her time spent with her family. She believed in the importance of togetherness and made every moment count. Whether it was preparing meals, sharing stories, or making people laugh Marie's presence filled the room with love and joy. She had a sassy personality that was direct and passionately purposeful. She created a nurturing and harmonious environment for her loved ones, and her home was a sanctuary of love and happiness. In her moments of relaxation, Marie found great enjoyment in watching her favorite show, Days of Our Lives. Marie's legacy will live on through the memories she created and the love she bestowed upon her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit will forever remain a guiding light in their hearts. Marie enjoyed the days by her loving daughter, Jackie and Son-in-law, John and adored grandson, Vincent, and a wide circle of family and friends. May her soul find eternal peace, knowing that her presence in the lives of her loved ones was immeasurable and her impact everlasting.
