I met John as a vendor servicing the Cooper warehouse and had been trying to reach him recently without luck not knowing as to why I couldn’t get a hold of him. I found out earlier today as to why. He was always a pleasure to speak to and never wanted to give anyone a hard time. I appreciated working with him. My hard felt condolences to his family and friends. This world lost another good person. He will be missed.

I just received word of John's passing. I worked for a company servicing John's warehouse. I am floored by this news. As I got to know John, I got to know about the Christmas decoration effort he would make.
I visited his home last Christmas to view it. I couldn't get over the time he would put into setting all those blow up characters on the front lawn, not to mention the lights on the roof. I would rib him a bit on it. Telling him that he was no longer the young guy he once was (we all aren't) and to stay off the roof. He took it in good form.
I was looking forward to dropping by soon to see his latest effort. Sadly, this will no longer be the case.

John, you were a wonderful colleague. I appreciate all the times I called for shipping favors, some of which were elaborate, and you were always accommodating. But as I got to know you, it became clear it was your way. Cooper Electric will miss you dearly, as will I.

I am very sad and heart broken about John's sudden death . I was speechless when I read text from Maria . I met John at Duane Reade in Rego Park, NY. Maria and I were pharmacists and John was our store manager . Working with him was a pleasure . He was always optimistic and had a beautiful smile on his face . One day he approached me and confined in me that he has strong feelings for Maria . He begged me not to disclose it to anyone and numerous times came up to me and took my advices on what gifts to buy for Maria ,how to behave with her family meeting them for the first time and he was so delighted when he found out Maria is pregnant with their first child. John will stay forever in my heart as a caring son ,loyal husband and best Father. From the professional point of view ,I remember him as great manager treating his employees with respect and always having proper work ethics. Rest in Eternal Peace, John! You will be definitely missed by people that you impacted in your unfortunately short life! I am glad that we met in this life and shared the best years working side by side . Deepest condolences to the Family.

I will remember John for his big personality and sense of humor. He was a man who always loved life with his family. Even though his time here was short. His love and memory will live through his wife Maria and his sons Robert and Daniel. We love you and will miss you always John.

John was a hard worker and always tried to work with people at cooper. he was a great man always took the time to come to me when their was a problem at work and w would talk we may never agree but I always Respected him, we would talk about our Families and our dogs, He will be missed here at cooper electric i still cant believe he is gone I Don't think I Ever will get over his passing He was a strong man may god be with his 2 sons mother and wife and grandmother and the rest of the family ..RIP Armstrong Miss You .

I am deeply saddened by John's sudden passing. I've worked alongside him for the past five years and I have to say that he was a kind and caring human being. He was totally devoted to his work and his coworkers. He spoke often of his family and it was evident what a devoted father he was.
