John, What a life brother … I have known you since we were teenagers. Not only did you marry my twin sister you took me and my boys under your wing . I will never forget all the good times . 31 years will never have been enough, since i became a father i learned even more what having you meant to me. I will never understand this loss or accept my greatest teacher is gone. Loosing you is not what hurts me the most its having watched you suffer when you were the strongest person i knew. I truly hope you find peace and comfort dad and watch over us. I am more then grateful my children knew you and genuinely had the best grandfather. Thank you for being my father i will always love you.

Our hearts are broken. We have lost a great friend. Who knew offering me a ride home from work over 30 years ago would form such a loyal and loving friendship, not only between us but also our families. I'm so Thankful that we got to spend so many weekends together these last few months. So many memories ... You can't imagine how much you will be missed! I Know you promised that all I need to do is look up and you will be right there with me, I will be looking up a lot!
