Obituary of Patricia Rose Prezioso

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia "Pat" Prezioso, a beloved mother and grandmother, who left us on October 16, 2024, at the age of 77. Pat was a cherished friend and a pillar of our community. She is survived by her partner of 42 years, Denise DeCarolis; her daughter, Tricia Santaniello (Joe); and her treasured grandchildren, Jessica, Nicholas, Anthony, and Joseph. They will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Pat will be deeply missed but never forgotten. For nearly three decades, she owned and operated Malverne Bowl, where her hard work and dedication touched the lives of many. An accomplished bowler, she proudly won the Queens Tournament in 1981, showcasing her skill and passion for the sport. In addition, Pat enjoyed a successful 50 – year career as an accountant, finding joy in working with numbers and helping others. Pat had a vibrant spirit and a love for life, evident in her passion for the New York Mets and her cherished cat, Tarly. She also found joy in puzzles and board games, creating countless memories with family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 9:45 AM at St. Raymond’s RC Church, 263 Atlantic Avenue, East Rockaway, NY 11518. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
