Saunders-Simon J. "Bud" on September 6, 2010 at age 78 of Gibson, NY formally of Bay Ridge, NY. Beloved husband for 36 years of Betty. Loving father of Jim (Sherry), Helene Suglia (Robert), and Beth Dencker (John). Cherished grandfather of Nicole and Annie Suglia, Jaclyn and Christian Dencker, and Emma Hinckly. Devoted brother of Maureen Raspitha, Colleen Bording, Norita Birdsong and the late John Francis and David Finbarr. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Attended St. Laurence University on a hockey Scholarship. Proud Army MP Lieutenant of the Korean Conflict. Retired District Manager NY Telephone. Family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Perry Funeral Home Inc. 118 Union Ave. Lynbrook, NY. Funeral Mass Thursday 9:45am at St. Raymond's RC Church East Rockaway, NY
