Obituary of Theresa DeMeo

Theresa DeMeo (Terry) died on Friday, May 13th, 2016 in Lynbrook, NY, after a long illness. She was born in Brooklyn on May 27, 1931. With a passion for travel and a keen sense of style, Terry enjoyed exploring exotic destinations throughout the world, often returning with unique treasures. Her fashion sense drew her to a career in New York's garment district where she worked for several years, often thoughtfully bringing the latest styles back to family and friends. Devoted to family and friends, Terry remained in Brooklyn throughout her life, using it as her home base. She leaves behind her brother, Anthony DeMeo and his wife, JoAnn; and her sister and brother-¬in¬law, Anna and Mario Russo. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Phyllis Geraghty, Lorraine McMahon, Richard Russo, Michael Russo and 1 grand niece and 4 grand nephews.
