I was blessed to have had Mrs. Ginocchio in third grade. In the beginning of the year she was known as Mrs Kellerman. She invited all of us to watch her get married. She was so beautiful and kind. I remember she used to give out little candies with a picture of fruit on it when you got a perfect score on your multiplication test. I hate to say it but she never caught me cheating. She used to play Simon and Garfunkels "Sounds of Silence" and somehow used it as a learning opportunity. I think she just wanted us to be quiet. We were kind of loud. I was so happy when she bought a house around the corner from my parents. I would pass it everyday whi,e walking to my best friends house. I watched her family grow and enjoyed saying hello when she worked in the garden. My prayers and condolences go out to her family.

My heartfelt sympathy to Bob, Paul, Mark, Erin and her beloved John. My heart breaks for your loss. I saw a butterfly the other morning. I knew that Joyce was ok because a butterfly is new life. You and I can't see her but she is transformed with God in heaven. So every time I see a butterfly I know she is around saying her hello.

I'll never forget you teaching us to sing your last name or all of the crazy stories of the things that happened in your classroom that we still talk about to this day. Joyce, you taught me so many valuable lessons. You were an awesome cook, a lover of flowers and an amazing teacher as well as wife, mother and dear friend. I always cherished our open door policy. Larry and I so loved our happy hours together. It was a sad day when we left Ocean Ave but I was grateful that we remained friends.
