David M. Breen of Freeport, New York (formerly of Monmouth Junction, New Jersey) was born on August 8, 1934, in Princeton, New Jersey. He peacefully passed into eternal rest on August 1, 2016, just shy of his 82nd birthday. David is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Ellen. He was predeceased by his son Dennis and his daughter Dawn, and leaves behind sons, David (Trisha) of Kentucky; Douglas, Dana (Joann), Duncan (Debbie) all of New Jersey. Grandchildren, Alyssa Lawson (Jeff), David Matthew, Ryan and Daniel Breen. Great grandchildren, Braydon & Kinsley Lawson, and Dylan Breen. Sister, Margaret Cirillo. David is also survived by his stepdaughters, Maryellen Occhipinti (Gary), Carolann Perez (Joseph) and Kathleen Avati (James). Gramps to Gary Occhipinti Jr. and Tami Marie Occhipinti (Michael Caracciolo).
The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 2 - 4PM and 7 - 9PM, at the Perry Funeral Home, Inc., 118 Union Avenue in Lynbrook, New York 11563.
Additional services and interment will take place in South Brunswick, New Jersey, at a later date.
