Obituary of June Tripi

June Tripi, age 70, of Lynbrook, New York passed peacefully into eternal rest on November 30, 2016. June was born in Brooklyn in November 1946 to the late Wilhelm and the late Jennie Junge. Her childhood included time in the south and in Germany. In January 1966, she married the late James Tripi, son of the late Philip & the late Emanuela Tripi. She was the caring sister of the late Marilyn & the late Felix Orso, Billy Giunta, Francetta Smyth, the in-laws of late Joseph & Joan Tripi, and Thomas & Catherine Tripi. June and James were blessed with four sons and three daughters-in-law: James & Jessica Tripi, Thomas & Eva Tripi, the late Paul Tripi, and Erik & Jennifer Tripi. They were the cherished grandparents of Thomas Jr., Antonia, Erik Jr., James, Kaitlin and Nicholas Tripi. The family moved to Lynbrook from Brooklyn in 1976, she was a wonderful stay at home mom and later worked for and retired from Nassau BOCES. All that knew June are aware of how caring and thoughtful she was. She never hesitated to be of assistance when needed, and she always made sure to take time to spend visiting with friends and loved ones to show them how much they were cared about.
