Please share a memory of Diana to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
> With the heaviest of hearts we announce the passing of our Mother, Diana Rose Janeczko on Friday, February 3, 2017. She passed away peacefully in her sleep after recent hospitilization for the treatment of pneumonia. Diana was 75 years old, was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 6, 1941 and lived in Valley Stream, NY.
> Diana was a beautiful, kind, generous, funny lady that had a tremendous sense of family and was adored by many friends over the years that she cherished. Diana was a single mother and raised three daughters in the most nurturing and loving home. Even though she met many great challenges, she provided a warm, loving and happy environment for her children. She naturally became a wonderful grandmother that adored her two grandsons and treated them as if they were her own. She also always had a special place in her heart for her three son-in-laws. Diana had a special bond with her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
>
> Without exception all who knew Mom from our childhood through adulthood held her with the warmest regard. She knew the value of long lasting friendships and had many of these relationships for over 50 years across many cities and states.
>
> Diana is survived by her children, Ann-Marie McArdle, Jacqueline Lesowitz and Christine Hill. As well as her three son-in-laws, Brian McArdle, Gary Lesowitz and Steven Hill and two grandsons, Christopher McArdle and Thomas Hill and sister, Vita Capossela. Preceded in death by her loving sister Lillian Buontempo and her parents, George and Martha Rebecca.
Although Diana Janeczko will be dearly missed her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
