Kay was a very special person to the Graham family. She came to all family events, and everyone loved her. My father, Donald, and my brother, Timothy, once worked with her. My father called her saint Kay and spoke to Kay on a daily basis.
After my father died, I spoke to Kay at least twice a month and she asked about each member of the family. She was always concerned and always offered her prayers to all of us. She sent cards, money, and presents. I would constantly tell her not to do that.
Kay devoted her life to others. Sitting still was not a part of her life. Even when she could hardly walk, she made sure that those who could not leave their homes received communion. The church relied on her for help, and she never said, "No."
Towards the end of her life her body started to give way, and she was especially afraid that she would go blind. She was also concerned that she was finding it difficult to send out her cards. I prayed to God to please let Kay keep her eyesight as long as she lived. And he did. Thank you, God.
I know that Kay is now safe, free from pain, and surrounded with love from all who passed before her.
Kay spoke to me about her family. I know that Kay will always be with you when you think of her. I am so sorry for your hurt and tears. I know Kay would not want anyone she loved or knew to be unhappy. She was so devoted in her faith that she now must be bursting with happiness.
