Michael was one of the few friends I had that, even in the worst of times, would always have a smile for me. He always wanted to have fun and never let me down. He was fearless and brave. He was a seeker of truth as well as adventure and I loved him like a good brother. I know that he is in Heaven, and if I play my card's right, one day I'll have the pleasure of seeing him again. This gives me a calming feeling inside. His spirit will live on in everyone that he blessed with his presence. My deepest most sincere condolences go out to Mr. and Mrs Esposito and their whole wonderful family and may you all have peace in your lives knowing how much Michael has touched and enhanced all of our lives with his loving brilliance.

Mike was a true friend. Always a big smile when we would get together. He is the guy that always made you feel welcome. When we did get together it was as if we had seen each other yesterday and just picked up the conversation without skipping a beat. Like I said a true friend. Uncle Michael was like a second father to us. He lived with us for a few years and took care of my mom and us when we were going through a hard time. Nothing will ever replace the positive, loving and caring impact he has left on us. Uncle Michael always made us laugh and made sure each of us were important every single day. I have been sharing stories about you with alot of my friends. I always admired your enthusiasm and zest for life. Always pushing it to the next level especially with your extreme sports! You were a blessed person. You had great looks, great personality and great sense of humour . You also had that eternal energy silently brewing inside of you. You hit life harder than most, but probably how most of us wish we could live. Because of you , you made everyone around you a better and happier person. LWith Josephine, With Anthony the hole in my heart grows larger...I am not sure if it will ever heal.... Thank you for showing us all how to live.

Dear family and friends of my uncle Michael, sorry i wasnt able to make it here today as im stuck 18 hours away in college. Today we say our final goodbyes to my dear uncle Michael who was a man filled with love, smiles, and fun times, to those of you who knew the real him. What has happened is sad, but as the family knows and as my father told me, he is in a happier place now with his brother and sister, Anthony and Josephine. I wasnt planning on taking up too much time so ill start to finish up by sending my prayors and all my love to my grandfather and grandmother, anthony and viola, who are the strongest most loving and caring people in this universe. I love and miss you guys so much and i couldnt thank you guys enough for everything you have done for me. Along with these two are my loving father, louis, my uncle james and my unlce jimmy. The amount all of these people have been through is truly incredible. Lastly i want to send my love to my best friends which are my brother louis, my cousins bianca, Anthony, Nicolette, Coley, Jimmy, Jake, Isabella, Mike, Joe, Josie and my god daughter victoria. I am so saddened to hear about the loss of Michael. I will so miss his smile and laugh. That is what I remember most about Michael, he was always smiling and laughing and living and loving life. Just heard the extremely sad news...im spechless..I dont wanna beleive I heard what I heard...I met Mike way back in the 80's..though we went to different schools we met up in Valley Stream one night...An all I can say..is Mike an I became freinds instantly...we had fantastic chemistry for a freindship...Mike was the kinda Gentleman that when he gave his thoughts or opinions on ANYTHING..you knew right there..that was the extreme truth...He never held back on his word...he meant what he said..an lived that way...I highly respected him alone for just that...I will miss him tremendously!!..He left that kind of impression on me...My deepest Condolences to his loving family..my prayers go out to each an everyone he loved an loved him...

I was very sad to hear this news... way to young! Mike was one my oldest friends from way back in Hewlett Elementary. I was lucky enough to go to Montana and stay at his house and get to see how beautiful it was there, not to mention the best steak ever!! Although we hadn't spoken much, I always knew he would always have my back if he could. I went to Point Lookout beach with him almost everyday during the summers after high school. I was always amazed at how he handled the loss of his eye, not sure if I could have in the same way. My condolences to his family. He will never be forgotten in my mind!!

Now you are free brother. Free to do all of the things you enjoyed so much. Free from the physical pain and internal anguish that you endured. I can imagine that as you left us, you hiked through the woods with your tackle by your side, spotted an elk under a tree with your good eye, and then swam through the Gallatin braying at the otters as you past them by, just before soaring high above the mountains that you loved so much. Now you are free Michael and ever so missed.

Espo was a class act and taken way too early.....Many good memories on Orleans Rd and St Joes Basketball.....Tough kid and man-as we all found out!!!!!..We would see each other at funerals and events after losing touch but he always had a nice hug and good stories. Rest in peace my friend-you will never be forgotten.

Mike you are one of the earliest friends I ever had. I've known you over 47 years. We didn't keep in touch very often, but when we'd see each other, it was always with a great big hug and plenty of laughs. No matter what life threw at you, you were always there with that great big smile and shrugged it off. I know the past years were taking even more of a physically burden. Rest easy my friend, you will be missed by so many.
