We are extending our heartfelt sympathies and condolences, to Trevor, Nadeen, Sophia, Omar, Claudia, Tiffany, Latoya and all of Sonia's grand children. You continue to remain in our thoughts and prayers. While there is nothing that anyone can do, that can ease or take your pain away; we pray that the Lord will strengthen and comfort each of you, during this dark and difficult period.
There is no one in this world like Sonia. She was an amazing woman, with the biggest heart.
She touched so many lives and will be remembered for her kindness, selflessness, her sense of humor and her contagious laugh. Our hearts are broken in a thousand pieces over this loss. Her memory will live on forever.
Sonia made her peace with God. So (2 Corinthians 5:6), ~ We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. ~ Go with God, until we meet again.

Our collective hearts are heavy with sympathy in the transition of our beloved Sonia. Heartfelt Condolences from the Duffus Family.
Retrospectively, as co-laborers at the United Apostolic Church, I remember our conversations, her smiles, laughter, and numerous hilarious re-enactments of the Jamaican Poet, Louise Bennett-Coverley (fondly called Miss Lou). Our one-of-a-kind Sonia was loving, giving, family-oriented, and very fashionable. Although our hearts are aching right now, the memories of these things will become tools to push away the pain.
Wishing you strength for today and hope for tomorrow. I believe that tears can heal, memories can comfort, and love lives on forever. I pray that in the midst of your sorrow that God will infuse you with the peace and strength you all need to endure this season.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted (Matthew 5:4).
Sharing in your sorrow with love and friendship, Odette Duffus
